Ok, so MONTHS ago I started this blog and was supposed to start blogging about injustices starting with abortion.. Yeah, that didn't happen(obviously.) I could blame it on being too busy but the truth is; I just got hooked on Real housewives (among many other distractions) and got lazy(whomp whomp.) But I am back---for real this time!
The firey passion for this issue of injustice (along with many others) was fanned this past week at Ethnos youth camp. I taught a breakout session on God's heart for justice and how we as believers should share His passion for justice being executed in the earth. As I began to read the statistics aloud to the campers, I found myself weeping at the horrific truths that many turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to.
We as followers of Jesus have got to tap into the importance of justice to the Father. In fact, justice is so important to Him that He has established His throne upon it. (Psalm 9:7) We also must understand that we are called to be doers of good works and justice.
So, this is just the intro of more blogs to come concerning justice and issues of injustice. As stated in the previous blog, I am sure I will ruffle some feathers and step on some toes but hey-- someone's gotta do the job and I am more than willing to be that voice.
